Versatile Blogger Award!

Saturday, April 25, 2015 0 Comments A+ a-

First, I am truly sorry for posting this 2 months late! A very humongous thank you to Neri from My Life in a Tab for nominating me!

Also, before I begin, I'm not really sure if this is against the rules of blog awards, but I'd like to tweak a few things about the Versatile Blogger Award, if you guys don't mind. According to my pal, Google...

ver·sa·tile
ˈvərsədl/
adjective
  1. 1.
able to adapt or be adapted to many different functions or activities.

And the original rules regarding the award had nothing to do with versatility as a blogger (well, in my opinion anyway). So I want to put a little twist to it.

The original rules are as follows:

1. Nominate 15 other bloggers relatively new to blogging
2. Let the bloggers know you've nominated them
3. Share 10 random facts about yourself
4. Thank the blogger who nominated you
5. Add the Versatile Blogger Award picture to your post

Here's the *tweaked* version of the rules:

1. Nominate 5 (or more) bloggers who you think fits the adjective "versatile"
2. Let the bloggers know you've nominated them
3. Share 7 random facts about yourself. And set a challenge (more about this later).
4. Thank the blogger who nominated you
5. Create your own Versatile Blogger Award picture and add it to your post. Your imagination's the limit!

Okay, let's get into it!

I'm going to nominate the following (please take note of the little reminder I put at the end of the post!):
- Sarah from A Glimpse of Blue (sorry for tagging you all the time, I seriously love your writing :<)
- Ali from Aliology (I feel so unworthy to tag you bc I wasn't able to do the Soundtrack of My Life Tag, but I like reading your stuff too and I thought you'd make a pretty good challenge to those you nominate!)
- Rhiannon from A Little Red Notebook
- Vibha from Crazy Like That
- Nicole from Writing is My Kryptonite

Now to the random facts + challenge!

My challenge for the people I've nominated is to share 7 random facts about them without thinking about it. Like, the first 7 facts that pop into your noggin, type 'em. Strictly no deleting. If you've typed it, it stays. Also, add a picture to each fact (what's that saying, pictures or it didn't happen? hahaha kidding). Add a picture if applicable.

Here's my 7 lightning speed facts:
1. I still obsess over One Direction (Yes, ONE DIRECTION. With Zayn.)
Look at them sexy pieces of poo (okay, that didn't sound right).

2. Despite my age, I still watch cartoons and I love them.
There's this one guy in school that dressed up as Dipper Pines from Gravity Falls for his Creative Shot and man, did I fangirl. Ignore the ugly quality. Also my arms. HAHA.

3. I seriously wish I was taller. Like, really tall.
Because I am just as tall as the world's greatest superheroes' pecs. And it's sad.

4. I constantly obsess over going to Universal Studios Japan and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
I mean, who wouldn't?? Look at it. It's beautiful. I love it.
very bootiful

((I can't provide photos for the following, I'm sorry))

5. My toothbrush is green.
6. I don't think I have a talent.
7. I played #1Dreamboy yesterday. At first, it was experimental because my sister watched Pewdiepie play it, but I actually quite liked it :) Don't judge.

The Versatile Blogger Award picture that I'm going to use is the one waay up this post! I made it myself and was supposed to scan it, but got super lazy, so huzzah! It looks super crappy and I'm so sorry, but I'm psyched to see yours!!

Oh and check out the new blog layout! I'm so fickle when it comes to these things. It's so hard to decide on one design and ack I'm not good with decisions.
The "A" in LAMP,
Andrea

**To everyone I've nominated, it's your choice if you're going to follow the original rules or the tweaked one. But if you will be following the tweaked one, don't forget to set a new challenge for the people you'll be nominating! =)
