What a Time to Be Alive!
It's weird how storms almost always bring me back to blogging. I'm not exactly sure if it's the feeling of your fingers on a keyboard while your body is wrapped in a warm blanket, a mug of hot chocolate near you, and the sound of rain drops hitting your window pane OR if it's just because my butt hurts from sitting in one position watching episode after episode of Once Upon a Time, trying desperately to catch up (I'm still stuck in season 3, so no spoilers please). It's probably the latter.
But hey, I'm back! Can you believe my last post was a few days before school started? And now it's the middle of the school year! Man, time flies when you're
First of all, Halloween!
Not expecting that from a scaredy cat like me, eh? But I love the weather during -ber months! I also like dressing up in weird costumes even though Halloween isn't exactly widely celebrated in the Philippines. I can't include Pumpkin Spice Latte since I've never really tried it, but I'm sure a lot of people are looking forward to that too.
Second, FLASH, ARROW, GOTHAM, OUAT, iZOMBIE, HTGAWM, etc.!
Most of the season premieres of the mentioned tv shows are during October! Here's s helpful schedule for all the aforementioned shows (I am too lazy for an infographic):
The 5th season of Once Upon A Time airs on StarWorld Mondays
Gotham airs Tuesdays at 9:00PM on WarnerTV (ch 77)
Season 2 of the Flash airs every Wednesday at 3:00PM via satellite on JackTV (ch 51), but I watch the replay at 8:00PM,
Season 2 of iZombie also airs on the same day at 9:00PM on WarnerTV
aaaand lastly
4th season of Arrow airs every Thursday on JackTV, again; 3:00PM via satellite and 8:00PM for the replays.
Of course the specifics are only applicable for people residing in the Philippines and the channels would only be accurate if you're subscribed to SkyCable.
Third, NaNoWriMo 2015!
NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) 2015 is in less than a month! I've been doing a lot of planning the past few days and the cancellation of classes tomorrow due to the storm is, as selfish as it sounds, quite the advantage. Anyway, to those who have no idea what NaNo is, it's basically this month-long drop everything and write event wherein writers from all over the world try to write a novel in 30 days and reach the glorious 50,000 word mark. Brave enough to give it a try? Then what the heck are you waiting for, let's go!
Seriously, though. What a time to be alive!
Okay that was pretty much the end of my list, but there's so much more things to look forward to! And not just in October, but also in the months to come. I know a positive blog post from me is a rare thing since I am the most negativest (yeap) person I've met, but I just want to lighten up the mood a little. There's a storm over the northern part of the Philippines as I write and I'm hoping everyone in that area is safe.
Anyway, here's to hoping this isn't the last of me we're going to see (is that even grammatically correct?)!
May the comments be ever in my favor (or not)
