Seeing Sarah Kay and Phil Kaye Perform Live!

It's 12:42AM, I just got home about half an hour ago, I still have morning classes tomorrow, but I know one thing for sure — I have to write this down. I'm afraid that if I hold it off, I'll forget the genuine feelings I'm feeling (there are a /lot/).

P is for Poetry and Phil Kaye

In the words of the great Edgar Allan Poe, "I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of beauty."

I may have mentioned it a few times before, but poems never appealed to me as a way to express myself. I've never expounded on that, fearing that a mob of poets might come after me at night and write poems with my blood (okay, too much). But today, I want to expound on that and also share my surprisingly growing love.

Timeless

I was never one to write poems.

One, because I suck at it.

And two, because I have to google rhyming words every single time.

But here's me trying again.
